The European Talent Center of Genoa (AISTAP) and the César Franck Association, in cooperation with the International pianistic Academy of Imola, are supporting three young very talented pianists who participated in the XXXV Edition of the Festival delle Cinque Terre.

 

André Gallo

 

André is a 26 years old pianist, who was a student of Maestro Franco Scala, Artistic Director of the Imola Academy. He is invited to perform in many different famous Theaters, as the Teatro Olimpico of Rome, Knzerthaus of Berlin, Hamburg Laeiszhalle, The Gran theater La Fenice of Venice, the theater Al Bustin of Beirut, the Sala Verdi of Milan, the Regio Theater of Turin and many others.

He performed as a soloist with the Hamburger Symphoniker, the Orchestra of the Regio of Turin, the Wurttembergische Philharmonie, the North Czech Philarmonic, the Mozart Orchestra directed by the Maestro Claudio Abbado, the ICO Chamber Orchestra and many others.

His repertoire include classic music including also the XIX° Century, with a particular interest to the French composers,  as Maurice Ravel, Erik Satie, Francis Poulenc and Claude Debussy. He cooperates regularly with the singer Ada Caiello and with the pianist Alessandro Tardino. In the near past he also performed with the famous violinist Pierre Amoyal.

In 2006 he had a grant from the Bayreuth of the Association Richard Wagner. In the same year he also received the Galarate prize.

Since 2013 he is the Director of the Imola Piano Academy "Talent Development" of Eindhoven and teacher at the Pianistic Academy of Imola.

Michelle Candotti

 

Michelle Candotti is a 20 years old pianist, who took the Conservatory degree with the highest grade when she was 14 years old, with Prof. Laura Palmieri.

She is a winner of many National and International pianistic contest as the "Best Chopin and Scriabin" (International contest Ibla Foundation in Ragusa) and the XV° Rassegna Migliori Diplomati di Italia in the academic year 2010-2011. She received others important recognition at the Madesimo International Piano Competition,  at the “XV Premio Pianistico Internazionale A. Scriabin”, at the  “Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition” and during the XXIII° Chopin International Pianistic competition in Rome.

When she was just 17 years old, she reached the final as a soloist at the 59° International Pianistic Competition "Ferruccio Busoni". 

She has been invited to perform with many Orchestras: the Philharmonic Orchestra of Bacau, directed by Ovidius Balan; with the Royal Philharmonic Concerto Orchestra directed by Brian Wright; the Foundation Orchestra directed by Mario Menicagli.

She has taken during these last years many masterclass with Petrushansky, Delle Vigne, Plano, Cappello, Soriano, Scott, Pollack and Ashkenazy

 

Actually, she is studying with Carlo Palese in Livorno and with Enrico Pace of the Imola Pianistic Academy.

Alberto Dalgo

 

Alberto Dalgo is a 27 years old pianist who is now enrolled in the Imola Pianistic International Academy for three years of specialization with  M° Leonid Margarius.

He has taken a degree as a pianist with honneurs and special mention at the Superior Musical Institute of Pavia with the M° Andrea Turini.

He followed many masterclasses and courses of specialization with Maestri at International level, as  François-Joel Thiollier, Roberto Cappello, Humberto Quagliata, Andrea Turini, Maria Grazia Petrali, Maurizio Zanini, Samuele Amidei, Massimiliano Damerini.

In 2016 he won the first prize at the Grand Prix CMF at the Concours Musical International de France; the first prize at the International Competition of Bellagio, and at the Acerbi International Music Competition. He also took the second prize at the  Bradshaw & Buono Piano Competition and he was finalist at the International Competition Franz Schubert.

He is invited to many international and national theatres like Madrid, the Robinson College og Cambridge, l’Auditorium Berlioz of Courbevoie (Paris), the Sala Eutherpe of Léon in Spain.

He is a professor of piano at the Casteggio Music school.
